My Nana Tilly, died 06/05/03 at 76 years of age.her real name is matilda but was always called
tilly, she was born n gateshead but lived in sunderland from a very young age. She had 1 daughter
(sharon), 3 Grandaughters (stacey nadine and jade), 1 grandson (tom)& Great grandchildren grandson
jamie who she new and adored she also has shaun and dion and baby lenoard . she had brothers and
sisters in total there was 11 including her self. She was took to hospital for a knee replacement
oporation And put on madication. Later came home and became ill due to her medication. And was
unable to be given another oporation due to her age as her body was unable to take the stress. She
was then put on a life support machine in iccu for almost a week and sadly slipped away (at 9.40pm,
thursday 6th may 2003). you were the best nana i could ov ever had i love and mis you everyday. you
ment the world 2 me and the rest ov the family you would help any one. words cannot discribe the way
we all felt the day we lost you it was like my heart had been riped out i can remember that night in
hospital as if it was yesterday just watching the lines go blank on the machine that was the worst
pain i have ever had ill never get over you the fact that your not hear i miss you so so much

i would like thank every one who has lit candles and tributs 2 my nana it means alot she had a
heart of gold, she helped any one she could and was always there for them. she is such a big
miss!!!! xxxxx

I find an old photograph
and see your smile.
As I feel your presence anew,
I am filled with warmth
and my heart remembers love.

sent many years ago
during a time of turmoil and confusion.
The soothing words written then
still caress my spirit
and bring me peace.
I remember who you used to be
the laughter we shared
and wonder what you have become.

When the body is left behind
and the spirit is released to fly?

singing joyfully at sunrise,
